Anyhooo! So today during dinner, my grandma saw my dog . and started a firing round of questions about my dog. IN CANTONESE.  Oh yuh do note shes a staunch taoist and buddhist as well. and then she asked me whether it was a boy or girl and so on. and then she told me in cantonese that, sushi shoulnt be sleeping with me. because he was a boy. and when i asked her why, she said his dog spirit will come an rape me at night. 0_0  So she told me that my grandpa will scold me if he found out that sushi was sleeping with me. Haiyoh. ):

Gah, crreeeepy.

Oh yuh, that day I was talking to myself. haahaha. and daddy walked pass and asked me who I was talking to. How embarrassing )::::: I bet everyone talks to themselves right. I’m not a schizo or anything hokay. I’m just thinking aloud.

Gah, I’m so bad at keeping surprises hush hush. Got something for someone and every nerve in my mouth is itching to spill the beans. ):

Hur, am really upset cos I really do feel that my life right now can be depicted as me being stuck in the middle of a traffic junction and not knowing what path to take. ): am really hoping God will guide me through this. ):

Am really hoping that this year is gonna be a good one! I’m really quite fearful for what’s to come as Yiwei and I will be graduating soon. Which probably means that we’ll have to step out into the corporate world. Gah. Especially since good ol’ daddy refuses to hand be the business ):

2. Hong kong and Bangkok! (: I’ve waited so long to finally have a holiday! (: whooohoo! (: Am gonna be staying at langham place this round, and I really hope it lives up to its reviews! We usually stay in the heart of kowloon and the shangrila was really good last time so I hope this meets daddy’s expectations! We’ll be heading to HK disneyland as well. I’ve heard it sucks, but oh wells I guess it’s still worth a try especially since the tickets are really pocket friendly as well!

Next up, will be bangkok (: Good food, fun and shopping (: What more can I ask for

3. Cant wait for deebs to be back! (: 

not only will I have more of a life, heh. someone to bugggg everyday! (: anyhoo, but she comes along with a nice new cooper. hurhur. Cant wait for it to arrive. Good thing she likes my car, so we’ll get to switch cars sometimes! and shes travelling alot. so muahahhaa

Oh yes, deebs got me a hermes note book to start my 2011! (; thank you sistel. Am currently, finding a present for her. Its quite hard to buy for a sister who is really different from me! (: Shall attempt to get her something practical. Since, she usually says the things I buy arent very practical at all.

okay, i just ordered something for her online. and now im broke once again (: aint life great ): hahaha! i hope she likes it though. and i sooper hope she does not read this. heh!

So here I am dropping by once again! ): Just finished my stats paper, the paper wasnt difficult but I really screwed up the last part. Am praying so so so hard, that I’ll pass. ): I HATE STATISTICS. the bane of my existence. Thank you Yiwei for listening to my incessant ranting. ):

Anyhoo, our exams are held at republic poly. Dont ask me why. All I know that its freaking far from my place. But anyways, staying right at the other end of Singapore. Good Ol’ Keith stays jsut round the corner and it just so happened that he brought his gps. okay, so I followed him and then we were driving along the CTE. and Keith just pulled his car over to the road shoulder.

When he suddenly ulled over, I was like OMG. HIS CAR JUST BROKE DOWN. But it was on an expressway and luckily sonia was with me so she quickly called keith. Eh keith what happened!.

Keith: UH, I THINK MY GPS IS WRONG. hahaha. we are going the wrong way.

the only thing which was going through my head at that point in time was :” WHO PULLS OVER AT THE ROAD SHOULDER TO FIND DIRECTIONS!!!”

In the end! guess who lead him back towards our good ol’ bukit timah/holland! ME!!! (: damn proud of myself, i might add! We exited at ang mo kio3/5 and I lead him to ang mo kio hub and from there we went our separate ways. HURHUR. i so pro with road directions now! (: WELL! not really! but oh well! (: I’m  only good at the thomson/ ang mo kio/holland/orchard/raffles city area.

But its okay, step by step!(: I shall conquer the Singapore roads!

Hurr, but seriously. who said guys were better at road directions? Girls FTW.and another point, dont blindly follow technology. My mum, once got lead to JB they brought her to the GARMIN OFFICE IN Jb. and from there, she had to get a police escort out of woodlands check point

Exams are coming up in 2 days time ): What a way to spend the second week of jan ): Anyhoo, we bought a mini cooper today! (: but it isnt for me though! its for deebs, cos shes coming back in april. SO our dearest daddy went down to book the car for her and to have it delivered in april. We are still ransacking our brains about the colours though. ):  The GM at mini was really nice to daddy and told him that he’ll give him a special discount. which got my dad even more tickled and that ultimately led him to signing on the dotted line.

Christmas last year was such a blast (: Well, mainly cos deebs was back.She got me a lovely camera lens (: Although, my passion for photography has honestly died out into an oblivion. But still, I really like the pictures!

haha. meet sushi my model used to test out my new lens. AINT HE CUTE. haha i know he looks a tad bit like a chihuahua. Let’s say we went a bit “Shave sushi” crazy. Well, I cut his hair really short because Remy was gone for a whole 2 weeks. Which brought alot of agony, pain and mess to the household.

When deebos was back, our whole family headed to TWG on alternate days for tea/breakfast/dinner. The food there is really good (: The staff may seem a bit cold at first but after awhile  they’ll start to warm up to you! (:

I cant remember what happened on monday to thursday. But all I know is that by Friday, Yiwei and I felt like we were gonna plonk on the floor and just crash. On saturday, we had our photoshoot (: It went really well  with our loveliest model. Oh gosh, she’s really softspoken and sweet!!! I told Yiwei :” oh gosh, i talk so loudly, I feel like I’m scolding her.” The owner of the studio was incredibly helpful as well! Giving us really good tips (: and I think it really turned out really well.

Reached home at around ten and whilst we were reviewing our photos, my dad came over and said:” woah, who took the photos?” Haha, he thought we hired a photgrapher. and with his whacky sense of humour he also added in “if you need a middle aged model, you can hire me next time” -__-”

Today,  started off with rehearsals for one of the senior groups. and they are such a joy to work with. Especially, when they were singing this other version of an oldie. Soooo cute! they were so grateful to us for helping them, really such a sweet bunch. I wanna join the choir to with my husband when im 80 or something

Oh yes, I got my mannequin FINALLY! i know everyone was laughing at me for wanting a mannequin, but I always place one of our self manufactured items on it to let it be a reminder of how far we’ve come and how good God’s been to me

so here’s a picture of new mannequin, which i’ve yet to name. I think i’ll call it Lucy. It has a really nice wooden stand at the bottom as well (: But i had to tie a plastic bag around it in case my dearest Sushi decides to treat it as a lamp post and pee all over it.

The week’s gonna be a really trying one again ): But there’s so much to look forward to! There’s a presentation which I am really dreading. But, on the flip side er jie’s coming back and my new bed is gonna reach on wednesday exciting stuff! and did i mention my birthday’s coming as well (: Finally, deebs and I can celebrate our birthday together. We are both born on the same day for those of you who dont already know! Just 5 years apart!

So eggcited !

have been webcamming with mummy and jie every night and mummy told jie :” i hate sitting in jo’s car. she always plays the same songs over and over again”. and then i asked mummy, so what songs do i play mummy. and she retorted:” dont know la, songs about butterflies and fireflies.”. hur hur!

i love the song butterflies and fireflies by sam tsui. Especially the sam  tsui version where there’s the part in the song where he goes planet EARTTTTTHHHH. yiwei and I always wait for that part and we sing damn loudly in the car when it comes.

Had dinner with duhdee today. He’s always in a seriously good mood today. we had dinner at coca steamboat , which I think is really not worth it for $33++. and after which, we headed to our favvvv place DFS next door! its so clean and the awesome bit is that its always empty

and for the first time ever daddy wanted to buy me  handbag! so nice right! he’s never ever offered before. but! of course i didnt take up the offer. I think I would have last time though, but as of right now. I shall stay grounded and not spend extravagantly. although, I do like to have an occasional splurge. But I’ll save it for 2011

thank goodness yiwei figured out it wasnt me, due to the fact that td jakes was running in the background preaching about behaviour! hahahaha. and quickly whats apped me and said:” OMG JOANNE YOUR DAD CALLED ME ON MSN!”. HAHAHA. what a way to end the week.

hahah! oh ya, once i installed msn on my dads imac, but he couldnt find the safari icon and  kept clicking my msn icon causing him to sign me out half the time on my own computer.

hope eveyone’s enjoying their long weekend! (: Am gonna have breakfast with meis later and after which.. I’d prob just laze around and indulge in some tv. school has beee HYUK. School from 9am to 7pm is possibly the worst thing on earth.

Oh yes! the best news is that tiggs is finally back home. (: Haven’t driven it yet  though, shall go and try it out later! Wheee! Was looking through facebook and one the people on my fb list put this up as his status.

latest updates. i’ll get my result in 2 – 3 weeks time. my stupid case is under investigation. i’ve 6 charges against me from land transport authority. the maximum charge that i will have to face is, charge in court with 12 months suspension of driving licence and revoked thereafter. maximum fined 2k per charge.

yikes right! So poor thing ): Hes only a few years older than me. and to be suspended from driving or to have ur license revoked is probably the worst thing on earth. heh and then he put there he forgot to pay his insurance and tax. :S naiss.

its gonna be a crazy week ahead (: So many things to do !(; Will do a proper update once im able to do a proper photo montage thingy.
